Basic Etiquette: 1800's through 1976

These are the basic etiquette regulations of the 1800's through 1976. I had to obey the etiquette standards from 1955 through 1976 myself. The etiquette standards were very strict at that time period. Etiquette Regulations: [1] Never mention "bathroom", "Restroom" or other name regarding the restroom. It is extremely obscene to mention the word; and extremely repulsive and insulting to ask to use the room. To ask to use the restroom indicates a tendancy to not be capable of holding back one's urges, neglect to use a restroom before visiting, or just being ill. It is extremely rude to visit people while ill. To ask to use the restroom will result in a lifetime ban from the household and friendship. [2] Never turn your back on anyone. When visiting anyone, never turn your back to them, him, or her. To do so will indicate you reject the person. To reject a person will result in a lifetime banishment from friendship and the community. I will write more about etiquette later; including newer etiquette structures.
